程婷婷现工作与生活于武汉。程婷婷受塞尚影响，避免创作出再现绘画的方式，而是记录自己的感官印象的图像对应物或视觉特征，赋感受以形。她希望利用物体本身所具有的符号联系，艺术家本人身体的外轮廓，山形，等等。人类的历史是基于移动，改造，每一个人都希望有一个庇护所，这些物体可能看上去很独立。但是他们在另一种环境和上下文中的是有关联的。程婷婷关注这些物体，发现、组合、挪用，甚至是破坏它们，试图找到其中的某种平衡。 Cheng Tingting currently lives and works inWuhan. Inspired by Cezanne, Cheng Tingting has attempted to go beyond a simple representation of nature in her paintings, but rather to strive to record the images or visionary characters that come from her own sensual perception of theworld, to reincarnate sensations. Cheng Tingting wishes to use the semiotic connections of the objects, and the artist’s own contour, shapes, etc. Human history is based upon movement and reconstruction; everyone would wish to havea shelter. They might seem independent, but nevertheless has a contextualconnection in another environment. Cheng Tingting is interested to study these objects, to discover, put together, borrow, or even destroy them, seeking tofind some sort of intrinsic balance.

而我关心的是，作为一个感知的界面（或Drawing的方式），“皮肤”是如何直观地表象当代大众生活及其文化机体的。 What I have been interested with isthat as a medium of perception (or way of “Drawing”), how “skin” can straight forwardly represents contemporary social life and its cultural agency.
