“回响 Reverberation”源自于法国现象学及精神分析学家闵可夫斯基对诗歌存在形态的讨论,以此作为两位艺术家的交汇点。两位艺术家共通地以感性为驱力牵引实践的探索,过程中将理性灌注其中,以此导引实践的绵延;这也应了亨利·柏格森所说的:“生命之流就是实在,精神是生命之流向上的冲力,而物质是生命之流向下的沉降和凝固” ,生命的本质正是在于参与到滚滚向前的洪流中去的感受。从创作的过程来看, 潘小荣和孙玥的作品都不自觉的延续着未来主义(Futurism)所传达的机械动能,表现出物体的运动状态; 重复交叠的手法, 让两者的作品形态都处于一种速度感之中。在画面和作品的形态上, 两位艺术家的作品形成的几何状阴影的节奏变化, 色块与泥柱之间的对比、映衬、流动以及空间位置的关系, 体现了两位艺术家作品创作过程中的无序性以及完成后与艺术家本人内在的有序性,而正是这种偶然的缺损或是增补, 引发了无数的神来之笔和联想。
我们将艺术家的作品看作不断向外释放能量的能量源,视觉是吸收能量的途径,亦于同时释放能量;在此空间内,孙玥的作品拔地而起,潘小荣的作品从四面八方的墙面浮现,交汇形成不断回响的能量场域。从孙玥作品的有机形态所构造出层叠穿梭的洞眼中窥视潘小荣作品的划痕轨迹,通感随之由视觉引发,将线性时间拉伸、穿透,造就更完全维度的回响。
"Reverberation" originates from the French phenomenologist and psychoanalyst Minkowski's discussion of the existential form of poetry, which serves as a meeting point between the two artists. The two artists share the same approach of using sensibility as a driving force for practical exploration, and infusing reason into the process to guide the continuity of practice; this is in line with Henri Bergson's statement that "the flow of life is real, the spirit is the upward impulse of the flow of life, and the matter is the sinking and solidification of the flow of life. The essence of life lies in the feeling of being involved in the flow. From the perspective of the creative process, both Pan Xiaorong's and Sun Yue's works unconsciously continue the mechanical kinetic energy conveyed by Futurism, which expresses the movement of objects; the repetition and overlapping techniques put the forms of both works in a sense of speed. The rhythmical changes of geometric shadows, the contrast between color blocks and clay columns, the contrast, the flow, and the spatial position of the two artists' works reflect the disorder in the process of creation and the order inherent in the artists' work after completion.
In this space, Sun Yue's works rise from the ground and Pan Xiaorong's works emerge from the walls in all directions, intersecting to form a constantly reverberating energy field. Through the cascading holes constructed by the organic forms of Sun Yue's works, the trajectory of Pan Xiaorong's scratches is visually triggered, stretching and penetrating linear time, creating a more fully dimensional reverberation.

孙玥

Pan Xiaorong (b.1985) was born in Jiangxi Province and currently lives and works in Shanghai. 2004-2008, he studied at the Oil Painting Department of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. Sun Yue (b.1991) was born in Liaoning, China and now lives in Hangzhou.
