While the exhibited works are fragments salvaged from memory, they coalesce into expansive conceptual narratives. Wang transforms hazy scenes, fading figures, icy streams, and fleeting hares into a renewed visual lexicon: humanity structures unravel into fluid geometries, corporeal boundaries dissolving through abstraction. This creative process itself becomes an act of resistance—against the inevitability of oblivion, the confines of expression, and the discipline of "definitive answers" over intuition.

Wang's practice is also an experiment in self-deciphering. The humanoid forms that emerged in 2016, refined over a decade, now reconstruct life's "incompleteness" through dynamic abstraction. He rejects explanatory annotations, mirroring life's enigma: "Viewers' interpretations will unveil infinite possibilities." The artist emphasizes that "conformity is irrelevant," seeking instead for "ideas to mature into wholeness through time"—a process embodying resistance itself. In Cocoon, the dormant state of being wrapped up surges with the longing for transformation; in Murmur of Streams, the distant memories crystallize into traces of "new bones"; and the sharp lines suddenly piercing through the chaotic color blocks are like unanswerable questions, bursting forth under the starry night sky. As viewers ascribe meaning to these symbols, Wang withdraws from judgment, stating: "To act or not is action." He documents this struggle as an observer, echoing Beckett's absurdist exposure of existence through perpetual waiting. The works neither judge nor declare, but lay bare life's raw essence—confusion, perseverance, a faint hum of song.
