She believed that her paintings did not represent reality, although she produced fantastical or poetic images by using and combining parts of reality. Teresa Murtagh presents the world in the form of a pictorial diary, a visual and emotional barometer of her experiences in Berlin, as a record of an emotional, intuitive and free process.
